I enjoyed the story line. It was different from others that I read. A girl/woman disguised as a man to help her family at a cost of losing her own identity. Good read
This was one of the worst books ever!!! I couldn't even finish it. It was not only boring but the hero cheats on the heroine which I absolutely cannot abide in any book!!! Once the hero meets his heroine, there should never be any sex at all with any other women. I'm tired of this meaningless sex crap supposedly being okay. It's just not and it's not the least bit romantic!!!

The plot was amazing, the characters well thought out and very believable.

Since I enjoy books with this particular subject matter I will have to say this is a favorite. Along with a great story it reflects the compromises that we are all sometimes faced with. It's vivid in it's characterizations and gives us a look in the rear view mirror of the things that built our country to be what it is today. There was plenty of compromise, but also a lot of self sacrafice that went into building our history and this book has some very real descriptions of what things must have been like when the Apache and other Indian Tribes were stuggling to survive. You can learn a lot with this one and the real kicker is that it's very enjoyable as well.
