As a reader who's obsessed with rockstar romances and read many of them, I feel as though I've become quite the connoisseur. As a series starter, and Ms. Sparks' debut, this story definitely entertains though there's no real surprises. What there is is a satisfying read, intense emotions, and an electrifying rockstar world that easily pulls you in and has you rooting for the protagonist's HEA.Eve and Ash were once so close that it was thought that nothing could pull them apart. When Ash gets the opportunity of a lifetime to join up-and-coming rock band Oblivion though, their perfect romance ends as Ash doesn't want Eve to always be waiting for him. As Ash gains fame, Eve's left adrift in one-night stands until she settles for a man who makes her feel good, but nothing close to what Ash engendered in her. When a chance encounter has them picking up where they left off, it becomes a rocky road to HEA as outside forces conspire to keep hem apart. Through it all they fall back on the love that originally drew them together to deal with an ex who can't let things end, a manipulative manager, and other unexpected twists and turns. Along the way we see a couple easily picking up where they left off due to their sweet backstory. They're both strong-willed with a connection that crackles with energy and teems with sensuality and they had me rooting for them every step of the way as Fate makes it clear that they're meant to be together.
Ms. Sparks has crafted a fast-paced story with a sexy hero who tries to do what's right but ends up hurting the person he loves the most. He makes sure not to waste his second chance in a steamy battle to reclaim Eve's heart. Aiding Ash in bringing Eve wholeheartedly into this chaotic world are his equally sexy bandmates who accept her easily. The glimpses we get of these men are addicting and have left me wanting to see more of them. This is a vividly depicted world where the language of sex and partying are on display. It's a sexy world full of excitement and it propels the story at a quick yet satisfying pace to keep me fully invested in the reunited couple's journey to HEA. The only issues I had were the story's predictability, which made this JUST ANOTHER rockstar romance, and the clearly non-American vernacular which occasionally pulled me out of the story's pleasant flow. Ultimately, this is a series I look forward to reading more of as the remaining bandmates have me clamoring for their own stories to be told.

Heaven Sent Oblivion on Tour Book 1 edition by Tania Sparks Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was certainly a full on novel and not for the faint hearted. Not my usual read, as there is a lot, and I mean A LOT, of sex, but a great story. A true second chances romance with a 4 chilli heat.
This story had me from the beginning. It is a wonderful story about love lost and love found again. I am a sucker for second chances. Looking forward to Trixie and Nikki story.
Great rock star story! The author really made you feel that the couple were made for each other. Even with all the upset they talked things out. This is the first book I have read by this author, I will read more.
Ash & Eve/Angel's story was very enjoyable! I liked the way they ran back into each other & how they make their relationship work. Loved the interaction with the band, each member getting to know Eve & feeling like more than just supporting characters. I'm looking forward to reading about each of their stories!
One thing to note, this takes place in America, but is written in the British vernacular. It can throw you off a bit, but shouldn't detract from the story.
All in all, thumbs up!! )
This review is a bit hard to write. I need to start by saying that I did enjoy this book rather a lot. I could tell by the language of the story that the author was from a different country than my native USA. I love this aspect of the book. However, there were still a lot of editing errors. I found it truly distracting.
I related to the characters, the story flowed nicely, and I am looking forward to the next installment in this series. I just couldn't give it a five star rating. I couldn't give it a three star rating either though.
I do recommend this book however be warned about the editing.
So great to have a rocker who is still in love with his love before he became famous. H/ h were so likeable. The h was a great girl and someone I wish was my friend. Loved the book...can't wait to read the rest of series.
A wonderful book about high school sweethearts that go off to college only to be torn apart. Ash is a musician, a rocker, he gets an audition with a band as a freshman in college. Eve is a business major who loves to listen to Ash play guitar at the dinky bars his band plays at. When he gets the opportunity to tour with the new band, he breaks up with Eve, even though she is the love of his life. Eve falls apart and it takes two years for her to come out of the severe depression Ash leaving has caused. 7 years later they run into each other at a hotel that Eve is troubleshooting. Ash is drunk and can't believe his Angel is there. Through trials of fame they find their love never failed. Both had been lost and lonely. The band is having problems with their tour manager, who only has the job because of her father
(who is part of their management team). After she tries to ruin Ash and Eve's relationship with drugs, she is fired and Eve takes over. What a brilliant and wonderful book. Can't wait for Trix and Nikki's story. Love this band!!
